1. Licensing & Compliance
All artists must be licensed to tattoo in Washington State and adhere to local health and safety regulations.
Artists must display proper documentation (license, bloodborne pathogen certificate, etc.) at their station.
Shops must provide their business license, business insurance, Seattle Business License Tax Certificate and provide all artist licenses.
2. Event Hours
Tattooing must only occur during official show hours. No tattooing is permitted before doors open or after the show floor closes. All tattooing must be done by the time the show floor closes.
Artists who begin a tattoo close to the end of the day must ensure it will be completed before closing time.
3. Booth Setup
Artists are responsible for maintaining a clean and professional station throughout the event.
Protective barriers (e.g. clip cord covers, surface barriers, disposable table coverings) must be used and disposed of properly.
Sharps containers and red biohazard bags must be used and disposed of correctly.
4. Client Safety & Consent
All clients must sign appropriate consent and waiver forms you provide before any tattooing begins.
5. Professional Conduct
You are representing yourself and the tattoo industry. Please act with professionalism, kindness, and respect toward fellow vendors, attendees, staff, and volunteers.
No intoxication or substance use is permitted during convention hours.
6. Sales & Payments
Artists are responsible for handling their own bookings, deposits, payments, and taxes.
If selling merchandise in addition to tattooing, please ensure it's clearly displayed and separated from your sterile work area.
7. Load-In / Load-Out
Setup and teardown must occur during designated times. Final load-out should not begin until the show officially ends.
8. Consequences of Non-Compliance
Tattooing outside of event hours or failure to follow safety protocols may result in immediate removal from the event and exclusion from future Sea-Meow Con participation.
No refunds will be issued for removed participants.
9. Designs & Display
● Event Theme: As this is a cat convention, only cat-themed tattoos should be offered.
● Sales: Merch that is your own art such as prints/stickers/etc. No AI imagery allowed.

Exhibition Fee $300
10’X 10’ footprint. pipe & drape backing, each includes:
One (1) 8’ table
Two (2) chairs
Electrical drop
one(1) Meowchant badge for each participating artist + one (1) booth helper badge.
Please Note
*Drayage, extra tables and badges can be requested for additional charge. They can be requested on your application or via the Meowchant Portal up until Oct 1st.
*Booth spaces are not confirmed until invoice is completed. Booth spaces are subjected to availability, so if you snooze, you might lose.

**Filling out the application form does not guarantee a spot at Sea Meow Convention. Sea Meow Con is looking for a selection of unique and diverse vendors. Applicants are selected based on quality, category, and professionalism. A personalized invoice will be sent to you after the completion of this form. Your spot will be confirmed once the invoice is paid.
